My Dear Respected Colleagues,
I, Dr. C. N. Raja from Erode at your service all the time for betterment of the IMA. I am contesting for the post State President Elect 2019. Erode IMA is going to complete 70th year by 2020. Erode has produced two State Presidents Dr.K.R.Balasubramaniam and Dr.S.S.Sukumar. Dr.K.R.Balasubramanim was our president during EIMA’s 50th Anniversary while Dr.S.S.Sukumar during the 60th Anniversary. These two legends well-known for their committed work for our association; following their footsteps, I request you support my candidature for the post of State President Elect - 2019, on the occupation of 70th year of EIMA.

ACTIVITIES AT ERODE IMA
IMAYAM
- This was inaugurated when I was Erode IMA Secretary. The permanent project IMAYAM, the crowning glory, inaugurated by our Former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam himself, Speaks volumes about our Branch.
SHARE AND CARE (FSS OF ERODE IMA)
- As Erode IMA Secretary, I initiated Share and Care (FSS of Erode IMA)
ERODE IMA PRESIDENT
- As IMA Erode Branch President, Air Conditioned the EIMAT Auditorium at the cost of 18 lakhs.
- Formed Health Club and Gym for Doctors
- Aathma Crematorium Project collected 20 lakhs from doctors
AS SPORTS COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN
- As Sport Committee Chairman 1st time organized all sports competition and 20/20 Cricket match all over the state. Successfully for two years

AS NHB SECRETARY IMA TNSB
NABH
Organized NABH Entry level Accreditation Sensitization Programme conducted at various zones
- Thanjavur, Erode, Trichy and Coimbatore NABH Hands on Field Training Programme
- Marthandam and Vellore We are helping 30 members to get NABH Entry Level Accreditation by giving personal attention and guidance with help of trained persons in NABH. We have dedicated team.
MINIMUM WAGES
- I represented on behalf of IMA at Deputy Commissioner of Labour-1, Teynampet, Chennai on 23rd November, 2016 to review the Wages for Paramedical Persons and Junior Doctors. The wages are made in to 3 slabs instead of one. Also, the Basic and DA slabs were reduced by two slabs.
- We had Minimum Wages Committee Meeting with Thiru. Balachandar IAS Comissioner, Thiru. U.Lashmikanthan Deputy Commissioner of Labour -1, Tenampet Chennai on 20th October, 2017 to review the wages for Paramedical Persons.
TN POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
- Took effective steps in the court of law and prevented closure of 123 hospitals by the order of National Green Tribunal.
CALIBRATION OF INSTRUMENTS
- As you all know that we have tied up with Anna University to do the Calibration of Instruments for our member hospitals effectively. Currently we have done for 50 Hospitals around 1000 Instruments.

NHB MEMBERSHIP
- 330 New IMA NHB Enrolments done during my NHB Secretary period
NHB ZONAL MEET
- Regularly conducted Zonal Meets once in three months all over state
NHB STATE CONFERENCE
- First ever NHB State Conference on 10th & 11th June, 2017 at Erode. State and National Level faculties and IMA Leaders participated.
ENT CAMP
- Regularly conducting free ENT camps for the past 16 years at Sathyamangalam Hill Tribes – Free ENT Surgeries done.
- Conducted 75 ENT camps in and around Erode and distributed Free Hearing Aids to nearly 180 patients at Salem, Namakkal, Karur and Erode Districts.
- Running a school for Hearing Handicapped Patients for the past 16 years.
ENT ACTIVITIES
- First Temporal Bone Workshop done in the Semi Urban and Rural Area in 1999 at Erode.
- Conducted more than 10 workshops conducted at Annai ENT and Head & Neck Care Centre.
COCHLEAR IMPLANT
- First Paediatric Cochlear Implant Surgery done in Tamilnadu apart from metros in 2006.
SRI LANKA CAMP
- Conducted free Camp - 650 patients and 30 operations at Sri Lanka, Kalmunai.
